It’s the writing. This website is dedicated to making General Hospital the best soap on daytime. To that end, this website gives you 3 things you can’t get on any other website … |
An analysis of the week's plots and dialogue is AVAILABLE TO YOU EVERY SATURDAY MORNING |

In Our New Forum
We critically analyze what’s being written. We don’t just chronologically regurgitate the week’s events; we critically dissect the stories and dialogue. Click on any past week in HISTORY, or this current week in CURRENT HAPPENINGS, and you can see for yourself.
We aren’t afraid to ask hard questions, the questions other people and magazines are afraid to ask. They’re not questions like, “Where can I buy that black cocktail dress Kate Howard was wearing?” And I absolutely refuse to “suspend disbelief” like a good little team player ought to, as an excuse for the writers to continue to be mediocre, unimaginative, lazy, inaccurate, and sometimes even downright stupid.
We’re also not afraid to provide controversial alternatives. Click on TRIPE SOUP and read my alternate ending to the Black-and-White Ball, where 26 of the 28 people never live to see the sunrise. You’ll love it; you’ll never see the end coming until it hits you right between the eyes.
We create and write our own plots and dialogues. I actually put my money where my mouth is and do the writing myself. For some fun examples, check out TRIPE SOUP. Ric’s totally rewritten summation at Jason’s murder trial would have gotten Jason convicted. The rewrite of the whole hostage crisis storyline will get you to realize you never really knew Lorenzo Alcazar at all: no one did.
