MONDAY 01. It’s interesting, isn’t it, how people choose to deal with grief. Carly has decided that the way to cope is first to screw Sonny, and then tell him to sign papers to give up all rights to his children. 02. Go and find some warm clothes, Alfred. No doubt the clothes will be Emily’s, and they’ll fit perfectly. 03. Okay, let’s take a minute to talk about this thing going on between Lulu and Johnny in that house. Don’t look so surprised when someone walks in on you; it’s not like there aren’t a bunch of windows in the place, NONE of which you’ve taken the time, or had the good sense, to cover. And there are lights on as well, so they can’t be missed no matter how you look at it. 04. And while we’re on the subject, it’s pouring outside, and a cold wind is blowing, and Trevor just walks in and leaves the door wide open. Are you kidding? 05. How convenient that Elizabeth just happened to know where a cabin was where they could fool around and wait for the storm to clear. 06. You know, Claudia looks absolutely beautiful without all that makeup. 07. I love it when a man tells you that your moment of weakness should never have happened. Notice how Sonny waits to tell her anything until after he zips up his pants. 08. Trevor is absolutely right, whether you want to believe him or not. No matter what way you look at it Lulu is a liability. Whether she’s screwing Johnny to keep daddy out of jail, or whether Lulu is truly hot for Johnny, she’s a liability either way. But she sure is gorgeous. 09. Don’t waste your time, Elizabeth. You’re actually doing a pretty damn good job of trying to help Jason, but he doesn’t want to be helped. There is absolutely NOTHING you can say that will make Jason stop blaming himself and wallowing in self-pity right now, so don’t bother trying. Yet if you DID agree with Jason and blame him, his jaw would drop to the floor. It’s okay for him to blame himself, but not for anyone else. 10. I’m sure it didn’t surprise you one bit that Claudia didn’t want Nikolas to call the police. Wouldn’t you love it if just once Claudia would demand that Nikolas call the cops? That she would demand Nikolas call Alexis? 11. So let me get this straight. Carly has to admit that as long as the bad guys know Sonny is the father of Morgan and Kristina, they won’t be safe. And then she says that they only way for them to be safe is for Sonny to stay away from them. HUH? If the bad guys know Morgan (for example) is Sonny’s, then is anyone really stupid enough to believe that the bad guys couldn’t or wouldn’t go after Morgan just because daddy doesn’t come around very much? Even if Sonny stayed away from now until hell froze over, it wouldn’t change a thing: the potential for trouble will always be there. Now if Carly REALLY wanted to protect Morgan, she’d create some conflagration so that it would look like Morgan died. Instead, she would give him to some family to raise, because if she “died” too, it would be too easy for someone to smell a rat. Short of making everyone believe Morgan is dead, there’s no way to protect him from the bad guys as long as they know he’s Sonny’s kid. 12. Hey people out there; learn from the mistakes of others. Never allow yourself to get stabbed and end up delirious at some person’s doorstep, where you decide it’s necessary to blab just about the worst thing you could blab. 13. “Once my father’s gone, we’ll be free”, says Johnny to Lulu. CAN YOU REALLY BE THAT NAÏVE, JOHNNY? TUESDAY 14. Kate, so you paid Ian Devlin a million bucks to disappear. Let’s get serious. Don’t you think Jasper Jacks has paid off people? Oh, sure, he doesn’t call it a bribe, but you can bet he’s laid out a bundle in his time. So while you really had no business taking the money from your magazine’s operating budget, let’s separate where you got the money from what you did. 15. So Morgan will stay away from Sonny, and he’ll get hit by a bus. 16. See, that’s one reason you gotta like Trevor. When Trevor decides to do something, like shutting Luke down, he does it. He doesn’t fart around and take weeks or months to whine and moan and think about it. 17. So, Prince Snitch, exactly what are you going to tell the cops? All Claudia said was that she didn’t know Ian was going to shoot Michael. I don’t recall her saying she hired Devlin to kill Sonny, and the bullet ricocheted. And here’s a woman who’s been stabbed, who is clearly delusional, and you’re going to try to convict her for saying something while delusional? I can’t wait for you to try to get that one through the courts. Besides, Nik, by paying Ian ten million bucks and using a drug not approved by the FDA could probably get you jail time. So my suggestion would be to tell Claudia (when she’s lucid) that she admitted hiring Devlin, and see what she says. 18. I guess screwing Sonny wasn’t enough; Carly now needs to do the same with Jax. 19. Now I gotta give the thumbs up to Nik. He’s the only person who would ask Claudia what she did that was so terrible that someone would stab her and throw her into the harbor. WEDNESDAY 20. Luke ISN’T a flight risk? He goes on vacation at least twice a year, but he’s not a flight risk. He’s run from the law on so many occasions we’ve forgotten, but he’s not a flight risk? 21. I JUST REALIZED how much I preferred this show when I’m not stuck listening to Patrick and Robin. And then there they are. “I thank you, and your baby thanks you”, says Robin, when Patrick buys the baby a large stuffed gorilla. Oh brother. It’s dumb lines like that that make me wish I could fast forward through everything Robin and Patrick say and do. 22. You know what I love about Claudia? She’ll say stuff like, “We weren’t trying to hurt Michael; we were trying to kill Sonny” the same way she would say, “We didn’t rob that store; we just went there for a loaf of bread.” She doesn’t even know Nikolas Cassadine, and here she is freely admitting that she hired a hit man to kill Sonny Corininthos. HOW LUCKY SHE IS THAT NIKOLAS WAS THE ONE WHO FOUND CLAUDIA – a man who can be manipulated into believing that if he hadn’t wanted that drug to see Emily so much, Devlin wouldn’t have needed to shoot Sonny to get it there, and Michael wouldn’t have been shot by accident. And Nikolas took it hook line and sinker. 23. I would have liked it a whole lot more if Carly had slept with Jason. 24. Yes, Tracy, just pick up and go. And good for Tracy, who has already packed. 25. Probably the smartest thing Robin has said for months is what she told Jason regarding Michael: “While you’re beating yourself up over what you did wrong, try to balance that with remembering what you did right.” 26. So now Jax has decided that he needs to get away? |
THURSDAY 27. Kate, why in the world are you sticking your nose into Sonny’s life? He’s already told you that you betrayed him, and things are not the same. You know how Carly feels about you. So why do you go over to Carly’s on behalf of a man who thinks of you as a traitor? 28. OF COURSE Robin has had her website up for just a few days, and already she’s the latest Internet craze. How ridiculous. What an insult to all the people out there who bust their asses to construct and maintain a website. Why bother? All you have to do is go to Doctor Robin, and she’ll show you the secrets of getting millions to ready your website in just a few days. ISN’T IT GREAT NOT TO NEED ANY ADVERTISING? Robin’s website is so terrific, so fantastic, that it spread through osmosis. 29. Spinelli, Maxie is at work. Quit expecting her to drop everything, even though that’s what she expects of you (actually that’s what everyone expects of you). And while we’re on the subject, Maxie is answering a bunch of ringing phones, and she’s putting everyone on hold, but she never goes back to any of the calls. 30. You know Lulu, if you had any sense at all, you would NEVER go to Anthony’s house without recording every conversation. And you would also use your head. Anthony Zacchara does his homework. He will go after anyone in your family, or anyone you care about, until he gets what he wants. It was obvious that the thought of Anthony doing perpetrating some evil upon your brother was something that had never even occurred to you. Oops. 31. Patrick, if you’re wondering about what Robin’s saying about you on her internationally famous website, I realize this is a novel suggestion, but why don’t you read it for yourself? 32. Nadine takes care of Claudia and asks Nikolas, “Is this the room you shared with Emily?” What kind of question is that? Take about inappropriate …` 33. Diane actually wants to go fishing with Max? 34. So Johnny has promised Lulu that he won’t let daddy hurt Lucky. And how exactly do you plan to stop that from happening, Johnny? And then of course Lulu has to chime in with how she’d not going to let Anthony do anything to hurt Lucky. And how are you going to manage that, Lulu? The only way to stop this nonsense is to put a bullet right in the middle of daddy’s forehead. But NOBODY seems to have the guts to do that, so Anthony keeps everyone under his thumb. 35. So Patrick’s doing a blog too, and Coleman is his cameraman? Are you joking? 36. So Sonny is going to get out of the business? Sure he is. And that’s going to make things safe for Morgan? Sure it is. Of course, that doesn’t make it very safe for Jason. FRIDAY 37. Love was invented to create common ground between hunters and nesters? Where in the hell did Patrick get that? See, that’s why I just ignore most of what Robin and Patrick say. But I do like Coleman, who can’t resist panning around to the women stretching across the pool tablet o get a better shot. You go Coleman. 38. Claudia has the right idea. “Why do you live in such a creepy place?” she asks Nikolas. 39. Evidently, Claudia told Nikolas she didn’t know who stabbed her. COME ON. 40. So Sonny and Carly and Jason are in Sonny’s office. Jason grabs Carly by the arm and says he’s going to take her home. EAST SHIT AND DIE, you’re going to take me home. You mean you don’t care what crazy plan Sonny has concocted to keep Morgan safe? 41. Good goin’, Sonny; you take all the cool stuff, like the legit coffee business, the island, and the casino, and you give Jason all the crap and all the trouble. Carly is really on the bandwagon with this one, and tells Jason that in other words, Sonny is walking away and making him the target. You can see how excited she is in making this happen. 42. So Anna is dressing like a school marm and drinking like a saint because she’s going to be a grandmother and should dress accordingly? She looks terrible. Thos suits do nothing for women, so why are women wearing them? Like Diane. Yesterday she had this dingy ugly suit on that buttoned in absolutely the wrong place, and she looked awful. 43. One of the things I hate is people who behave one way, while telling you that behaving another way is really the right thing to do. Lucky is being manipulative and completely unfair, according to Lulu. But that doesn’t make him wrong, according to Johnny. SO WHAT? Make up your mind. Either be with Lulu, and the hell with all those other alternatives that people keep telling you makes more sense. Or dump Lulu (because that’s what’s in her best interest) and move on. But DON’T keep screwing each other while at the same time telling each other that they shouldn’t be together. 44. You know, when you think about it, there’s very little difference between the Cassadines and the Zaccharas. Claudia and Nikolas seem to be getting along just fine. They’d be an interesting pair, now wouldn’t they? Their conversation was wonderful. They seem so relaxed with each other. 45. You know, Carly, if something terrible happened, and you decided that you needed some time to figure things out, you’d have a fit if someone got mad about it. You’d list all the things you’ve gone through in the last few months, and you would expect that people would understand you needed some space. Yet Jax does the same thing, and you’re having a fit. Why? First, because you claim you need him. And we all know that Jax or Jason or Spinelli or anyone has got to be within feet of you at all times so they can do your bidding. The other problem is that from the way you’re acting, Brenda must be in Rome, and of course Jax has gone to Rome to screw, and be with, Brenda instead of you. 46. So first Lucky goes to see Johnny, and Lulu is hiding and listening to every word. Then Lucky goes to see Nikolas, and Claudia is hiding and listening to every word. 47. So Lucky visits Nikolas and tells him that if they can’t make Lulu walk away from Johnny, then maybe they can get Johnny to walk away from Lulu. Well, that’s really nice and all, but if I were Nikolas I would have definitely asked Lucky just what kind of plan he had in mind. 48. At least the sex between Lulu and Johnny is getting better. 49. So let me get this straight. Sonny is actually telling Jason that Morgan and Kristina CAN have a normal life; all it will take is Jason taking over the business. WHAT? 50. So Carly has decided to run away with Morgan? Here she is giving Sonny all kinds of hell because he didn’t protect Michael properly. And then she turns around, WITH NO GUARDS or even anyone who knows where she is, and she runs away with Morgan? What happens when she’s walking across the street and someone decides to shoot Morgan because they know there’s no one guarding him? Who does she blame then?
