Individual Points I Want to Talk About

| THIS WEEK WE BID A FOND FAREWELL TO LOGAN HAYES, AND ALL THE PROMISE HE BROUGHT WITH HIM. IMAGINE LULU AND LOGAN BEING TOGETHER, PISSING THE HELL OUT OF LUKE AND SCOTT. THEY COULD HAVE BEEN THE NEXT LUKE AND LAURA. SO BALDWIN'S ILLEGITIMATE SON IS DEAD AND GONE, AND WE NEVER REALLY KNEW HIM, WE GOT NOWHERE WITH A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HIM AND HIS FATHER, AND WE NEVER EVEN FOUND OUT IF HIS MOTHER WAS ALIVE OR DEAD. WE ALSO NEVER FOUND OUT WHY LOGAN WAS COURT MARTIALED. I ALWAYS FOUND IT WEIRD THAT LOGAN AND SCOTT NEVER TALKED ABOUT HER; I DON'T RECALL SCOTT EVER EVEN ASKING WHETHER SHE WAS ALIVE OR DEAD. WHY LOSE SUCH A POTENTIALLY GREAT STORY? WOULDN'T YOU LOVE TO KNOW WHEN THIS DECISION WAS MADE. | OVER THE LAST MONTHS, GH HAS DECIDED TO KILL OFF ALCAZAR, DIEGO, COOP, LOGAN, AND GEORGIE. AND MICHAEL MIGHT AS WELL BE DEAD, ALTHOUGH WE'LL SEE HIM AGAIN SINCE THEY'RE USING THIS COMA THING TO AGE HIM. (WATCH KRISTINA COME HOME FROM SCHOOL A HELLUVA LOT OLDER THAN WHEN WE LAST SAW HER) WHY? GEORGIE COULD HAVE GONE ABROAD TO STUDY, ALCAZAR AND DIEGO COULD HAVE ESCAPED, AND COOP AND LOGAN COULD HAVE OPENED A SECURITY COMPANY. GEORGIE AND COOP WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD TOGETHER. THE WRITERS COULD HAVE KEPT HER IF THEY'D REALLY WANTED TO. I WISH SOMEBODY WOULD ASK GUZA ABOUT WHY HE'S DECIDED TO JUST START KILLING PEOPLE OFF, THEREBY REALLY LIMITING HIS OPTIONS IN THE FUTURE |

MONDAY 01. "Kate Howard put her lips on my husband, and I'm going to make sure she pays," says Carly. You know, you gotta give it to her. There aren't too many people who would cheat on their current husband with their last husband, and then go out for revenge because SUPPOSEDLY/ALLEGEDLY their current husband kissed his business partner. Ya, I know that's how it always starts. but this is nonsense. 02. Spinelli, Carly has never done a damn thing for you. She treats you like crap (just like Sonny); you are a means to an end with her, something to be used. Do you honestly think she gives a shit about you? She made it clear she didn't give a shit about anything except nailing Kate Howard. And when Sonny finds out you were the one who exposed Kate's secret to the world, just what do you think he will do to you? Do you think Carly will protect you? Do you think you're on the side of truth and justice by sticking your nose when it doesn't belong? How dare Carly come into Jason's apartment, practically throw your computer at you, and then demand that you do something that NO ONE is going to thank you for? If you do this, you are an idiot. But Carly's last line (to Jason, not Spinelli) is one of those lines you play back 6 or 7 times because you're sure you didn't hear it correctly: "Kate Howard kissed Jax to spite me. She's trying to ruin my life and ruin my marriage, so I'm going to ruin hers first." 03. So there's Lulu coming into Johnny's place looking for him. You can't blame her for wandering around taking her time; how does she know what's happening to Maxie? But then she just stands there watching while Logan beats the crap out of Maxie. WAKE UP, LULU. Now I could see some stupid little scared girl who never had any experience with violence, freezing up. But not Lulu. I don't know about you, but if I saw what Lulu saw, I'd be on the phone with the cops in less than 10 seconds. I'd also be talking to them as I'm running, not standing somewhere where he told me to stay so he could "explain". Just how do you explain that, Lulu? 04. And before I forget, why is it that either nobody can find their cell phone when they need it the most, or they find it and there's no service, or the battery is dead. 05. Months ago I talked about Claudia and Trevor. Interesting, isn't it? Maybe Carly and Claudia can find some common ground here. Both of them were "seduced" by an older man, someone as close to the family as you can get. Both were blamed, even though the adult was obviously at fault. 06. Let me get this straight. Okay, Carly's been through some stuff: miscarriages and stress and a kid that's looking more and more like a rutabaga. But guess what, Jax? There are millions of women in this world - millions - or are watching their children die of malnutrition, who have had miscarriages, who are under stress and overwhelmed every day because there isn't enough food on the table. You know what the difference is? MONEY. Carly doesn't have to worry about putting Michael in some public facility where no one will care about him and he'll die way before his time. So don't tell me how Carly's problems are a reason for her to HATE Kate and to want to destroy her. 07. Lulu is calling Lucky? She's got a crazed psychotic killer on his way up to her apartment, and she's calling Lucky? And then FINALLY she decides to run, only to be confronted by Logan. She runs back into the apartment, and locks the door. Does she call the police? Does she break the smoke alarm? Does she call hotel security? I don't know about you, but when I stay in a hotel, all of this information is clearly indicated on the phone. And since this is such a high class establishment, with a very rich clientele, you better believe hotel security would be available. 08. I thought Johnny and Claudia were living in the height of luxury. If the MetroCourt is such a high class place, how in the hell can you make all that noise, and break down someone's door, without anyone hearing anything or calling hotel security? 09. Sonny if I were you, I'd politely tell Robin to leave. You don't need someone to come to your home and one minute congratulate you, and then in the next breath pretend like she's Sigmund Freud and Dr. Ruth at the same time, analyzing your live life, and your motive for marriage. 10. FANTASTIC QUESTION, Jason: Does Carly WANT Jax to know she slept with Sonny? 'Cause if Jax had a brain, he'd have his bags packed and be out of there in a heartbeat. We've all been assuming Carly doesn't want Jax to know, but maybe she's so twisted right now she doesn't care about anything but getting back at Kate, and losing Jax will simply be the price she pays. Besides, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if she's thinking that She'll go to bed with Jax, and the combination of fantastic sex and other projects, and he'll forget all about what she did to Kate. 12. It's just my opinion, but if I were going to New York for one of the parties of the year, and I knew the publicity potential would be enormous, I would have come to this party dressed in a beautiful red dress. In fact, I would make it a point to get constant publicity until Crimson's opening issue by wearing red to every big deal party. I would watch the show just to see what fantastic dress they'd concocted for the next event. Let's say there are 3 or 5 at the most. Obviously, the most spectacular dress would be saved for the opening. 13. BIG OOPS! BIG BIG OOPS! BIG BIG BIG OOPS.
TUESDAY 14. Taking measurements for the bulletproof glass? Okay, that's good. 15. Carly gives
Jason all this stuff about how if Sonny told Jax that Sonny and Carly
had sex (saying they slept together hardly applies here), that Jax
would leave, and SHE DOESN'T WANT THAT. What does she want? She says
all she wants to do is get Kate to back off. But threats only work if
... 16. See, here is a perfect case of what I was talking about before with Sonny and Robin. Robin comes in and spouts a lot of stuff and nonsense, pretending she's Sigmund Freud in disguise. But when Sonny talks to Claudia about why she's taking off her clothes in his living room, he's dead on: "You're here because somebody hurt you, called you names, and you want to prove those names are right; or you're here because you want me to treat you even worse. So you want me to use you, disrespect you, and kick you out when I'm done. You need to ask yourself why." 17. What a body Claudia has. She is gorgeous, and one hell of an actor. No matter who she's with onscreen, she's fabulous. 18. That's smart, Noah. Either you HAVE been gone too long, or you caught some brain disease while working, which would be perfect considering your profession. You know that Epiphany and Elizabeth are doing double duty in the OR (which would never happen in a city hospital, but we've been through that before). You should also know that if Elizabeth convinces herself that it's the right thing to do, she'll blab everything that's said to Robin. 19. Let me get this straight. These two doctors are operating on someone; they have their hands in this guy's brains, so there's nothing like being distracted by having a conversation about Robin being pregnant and Patrick being the father. Noah tells Patrick he hopes Robin has no illusions about him being any kind of father, and then gets pissed when Patrick points out that at least he isn't an alcoholic. Noah doesn't like the reference, but too damn bad. You've got some guy's life in your hands and you're sniping at each other? 20. FINALLY! Something Robin says actually is insightful. "Patrick loves me so much that he's willing to go to war with himself and pretend that he's a family man. But we all know that's not going to work. Patrick is going to figure out that raising a child is very difficult and not very ego boosting. And then he'll get restless, I'll be resentful. Why even go there?" BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN. 21. Boy it's sure a good thing that Jason apparently has nothing to do all day long but wander the streets of Port Charles either killing people, or playing shrink. 22. Let me get this straight. Noah blows into town, and then demands that Patrick drop the law suit against Robin or he'll put himself on Robin's witness list. WELL MY GOD I'M SHAKING IN MY BOOTS. After all, I'm sure everyone will just jump at the chance to take the word of an alcoholic that's once again out of rehab. What is Noah going to say? That Patrick would be a lousy father. I'd eat him for breakfast; just give this case. Well, come to think of it, being a lousy father is something Noah Drake's an expert in. What are you going to tell the judge? Patrick has to suck as a father because I sucked as a father, and he'll follow my model of fatherhood? THE MORE NOAH DRAKE TRIES TO PROVE HE HAS THE EXPERTISE TO SPEAK ON THE SUBJECT OF PATRICK'S ABILITY TO BE A FATHER, THE MORE HE DIGS HIS OWN GRAVE. 23. Sorry, but every time I see Sonny and Claudia together I can't help but want them that way on a more permanent basis. They could team up to bring down Trevor and Anthony. And Kate, who I adore, she could become involved with Jax, after he finds out that Carly screwed Sonny and leaves her for good. That would leave Carly all alone with way too much time on her hands, and she could decide to seduce Jason. Or maybe they'll have Carly go into some mental meltdown, and go back to the time when she first got to town, and she and Jason used to get together. 24. Come to think of it, Sarah is so good she could be with Spinelli and make you believe it.
WEDNESDAY 25. Carly, it's too bad you're so taken up with yourself and your guilt that you have to ruin such a good thing. You KNOW KNOW KNOW that Jax did not cheat on you, and still you're doing everything possible to act like he did. He's laughing because he knows it's so stupid. You ought to be glad he's laughing, because the day he stops laughing is the day the two of you are through, and you, lady are in a shitload of trouble. 26. The other thing that amazes me is that you KNOW KNOW KNOW that Jax, your current, FAITHFUL husband, is going to find out you fucked Sonny. How in the world can you do what you're doing, knowing that when Jax finds out, your life as you know it is OVER. And telling Jason that you'll just have to hope that Jax doesn't find out is about as stupid as its humanly possible to be. AFTER ALL, LOOK HOW YOU FOUND OUT ABOUT THE FACT THAT JAX AND KATE KISSED. God how I hope that happens to you. 27. The ONLY smart person in Johnny's apartment is CLAUDIA. I think it's funny that hardly anybody in that room can say they killed Logan, because they're had a run in with Logan before, and Baldwin has tried to have them arrested for attempted murder. She knows damn well Johnny is lying. EVEN MY BLIND GRANDMAW COULD SEE THAT LULU DID IT, so that means the police have at least a chance of figuring it out themselves. BUT HERE'S WHAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF. Johnny gives Claudia all kinds of crap about how they have to stick together and be honest with each other, and he's gotten mad more than once because she kept something from him, AND NOW HE'S DOING THE SAME TO HER. How dare he lie to her? And it's not even the lying; IT'S THE PISS POOR WAY HE'S DOING IT - with absolutely no forethought. Listen little brother, the least you could do when you lie to me is show me that you respected my intelligence enough to put some time and effort into your story. But this story is so pathetic is stinks. ANYWAY, my point was going to be that Claudia is right: she's got to know what happened for two reasons: @ she's got to know what she's covering up; @ she's got to know that Johnny is making the right decisions based on events. 28. BOY THIS REALLY PISSES ME OFF. HERE WE GO AGAIN. We have Noah Drake the asshole yelling at Patrick about the baby, and what a terrible father he'll make - right in public in front of anyone right there at the front desk. HERE'S THE SOLUTION, PATRICK. Simply refuse to speak with your father about ANYTHING other than medicine while the two of you are at work. And I'd make it clear to daddy dearest that either he stops making my private live public fodder, or I will get a lawyer and sue you, too. Now how's them apples? 29. Jax, stop being a jerk. For a man who just had one kiss with someone, you sure are sounding guilty. FOR WHAT? So you kissed Kate. Big deal. Stop letting Carly badger you to death, dammit. Just tell her nothing happened, and if she doesn't like that explanation she can file for divorce. And I won't belabor the point, but HOW CRAZY CAN YOU BE to treat Jax like this over one stinking kiss when you know what you did with Sonny?
|
WEDNESDAY (continued) 30. And Jax? He just stands there like some wimp. Tell me what it is about this woman. Is she that good in bed or something? What is it about her that's so amazing that you're willing to be emasculated at every turn? Just pack a bag and go. Better yet, don't bother packing anything. Just leave, and have the divorce papers delivered in the morning. You know, if you went to Alexis, she's stay up all night preparing the documents, and then he's sleep on the steps of the courthouse to be the first in line. 31. FINALLY! KATE ASKS SONNY WHERE HE GOT THE PICTURE. 32. LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. Carly admits to Jason that Jax kissed Kate the same night Carly fucked Sonny. But did you get her response? "THAT DOESN'T COUNT." EXCUSE ME? 33. I cannot believe that Claudia is buying the bullshit that Johnny killed Logan. Her instincts should be far better than that. And of course Johnny bitches and moans at Claudia, but he sure doesn't have any problems using her when it comes to getting rid of Logan's body. Considering he lied to her, he has no business expecting her help. 34. The conversation between Carly and Jason was just about the most logically ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It's okay for her to screw Sonny, but not okay for Jax to kiss Kate. It's okay for her to not tell Jax, but it's not okay for Jax not to tell Carly. But it's all really okay, because selfless Carly is doing all of this for Jax's own good. 35. Logan, for someone who's supposed to be dead, you're breathing awfully hard. 36. Kate, Sonny's relationship with Carly isn't a "dynamic"; it's a catastrophic event. 37. See the difference? Sonny sees the same photo as Carly. He chooses to laugh it off and watch Kate do spin control. Carly chooses to make Jax's life a living hell. Oh, how I'd love to hear Jax tell Carly off: "Carly, I have stood behind you, supported you, loved you when no one else would have. I am tired of being your personal whipping boy. You are DETERMINED to destroy your life because of your guilt about Michael, and you're willing to take anyone down with you, no matter what the consequences. Well, I'm not going down with your sinking ship. And if you weren't the evil-minded, totally self-absorbed bitch that you are, we would have opened a bottle of champagne, and I would have told you the story, and we would have had a good laugh. Then we would have gone to bed, had great sex, and the next morning you would have asked me to do the same thing again since it seems to have done a lot for our sex life." 38. Let me get this straight: CRIMSON is ready for launch, and Jax has promised Carly he won't go to any more events with Kate, no more private jet rides, and he won't even go out of town if she doesn't want him to. ARE YOU SERIOUS? LOOK ... SHE'S GOT HIM APOLOGIZING. HOW DOES SHE DO IT? 39. I give Maxie an awful lot of credit. Think about it; Maxie's first boyfriend, Jesse, got his brains blown out of his head; then her sister is murdered; then Maxie finds Coop hanging in his room; and now Logan. 40. $100 says changing the license plate was Claudia's idea and not Johnny's.
THURSDAY 41. Hey Patrick, don't worry about your father testifying in court. He looks like he's been on an all-night bender; I wouldn't believe a thing he said. But why does Anna look guilty? I don't get that at all. 42. SEE, I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN. You can always count on Lulu to screw things up. Last night it was perfectly okay for Maxie to cover up for Lulu, for Johnny to say HE killed Logan, and for Claudia to dispose of the body. Now, in the light of day, when the three people who helped Lulu cover up the crime are now in a shitload of trouble, she picks now to get a conscience. All of these people are now on some gruesome carousel where nobody can get off. Lulu whines that she never told Johnny to cover for her. Oh, ya? She didn't say no either, did she? And now - how like Carly - she saying things to Maxie like doesn't Maxie even care that Logan is dead, and how maybe she doesn't want to pull this off. When somebody's got cold feet at THIS point, get out of the situation as fast as you can, because Lulu is sure to screw it up, and you know everyone else will suffer for it. 43. Just stop all of this crap NOW. Lulu and Johnny, go get a lawyer - NOT Ric or Trevor - Diane, for example. You call Alexis, and then the three of you walk into the PCPD. Diane says her client - LULU, not Johnny - is there to set the record straight and give herself up and the killer or Logan Hayes. That Lulu didn't come forward at the time because she knew of Scott Baldwin's extreme prejudicial bias in the case, and because of his long history with her family, she was scared he would throw her in jail for murder. Then all Lulu has to do - assuming it ever comes to this - is cry and bat her angelic eyelashes at the jury, and that will be that. But instead we have to go through all this nonsense. 44. NO, YOU DON'T LOOK GUILTY, LULU, standing there by Maxie while Mac talks to both of you. Maxie is wonderful, being appropriately shocked about Logan's death. Maxie is even smart enough to tell Mac about her encounters with Logan the day before. She knows how her father operates. But Lulu is being an idiot. COME ON, LULU. Get with the game plan. You couldn't have looked more guilty if you had a picture of yourself standing over Logan with the bloody knife in your hand. 45. Let me get this straight. Mac shows up at Anthony's and demands to know the whereabouts of him, Ric, and Trevor because THEY'RE THE PEOPLE WITH THE MOST MOTIVE TO KILL LOGAN. WHAT???? That is really stupid. Why would Ric want to kill Logan? Johnny has more motive to kill Logan than all the people in that room put together. Keep in mind that Anthony could always tell Mac that Logan was fired days ago, and imply that he was fired because he was trying to go into "business" on the side. 46. Jason, why would you refuse to tell the police when the last time was that you spoke to Logan? I'm all for keeping the police in their place, but according to what we've seen, you haven't spoken to Logan since the day you were arrested for the murder of Alcazar, and you told Logan to call your lawyer. Now how long ago has that been? As an aside, Diane came to Jason's office because she knew he'd be a suspect. There was enough time for her and Jason to have conversed regarding the fact that the police will want to know where he was last night, and when's the last time he spoke with Logan. That's the first thing they should have gotten settled, and then Jason wouldn't be going to the PCPD in handcuffs. 47. They put Jason Morgan in a lineup? 48. NEVER EVER UNDERESTIMATE ANTHONY ZACCHARA.
FRIDAY 49. Have you ever been asked to identify someone in a lineup? Well, let me tell you what DOESN'T happen. No one gets to just barge into that room unless they're police personnel. So this crap about Carly coming into the lineup room like a banshee screaming stuff about railroading Jason is ridiculous, especially if Nadine wasn't going to pick him out. Better, in this case, to let the situation run its course - although, like I said, there was no reason for Jason to refuse to answer questions about Logan, which would have prevented this whole thing in the first place. 50. Hey, Anthony, I just get done signing your praises, and then you turn around and talk like a dope. It's stupid for Claudia to say she saw Jason kill Logan. Since there isn't a SHRED of truth to the story, she's SURE to get tripped up. And when she correctly refuses, Anthony gets pissed and tells Claudia if she doesn't tag Jason for the killing she's selling her brother down the river. Excuse me? How does such an obvious lie help Johnny in any way? Maybe Claudia should tell the police that she heard Anthony telling people to kill Logan, or better yet, that she actually saw Anthony shove the knife into the person he called "Monkey Boy". And say that when you went to your father asking about Logan, Anthony said that he heard something he shouldn't have, and had to be eliminated. Claudia could do that, Anthony, which would be a helluva lot easier for her to hold up than what you're asking her to do. 51. Nice, Anna. First you tell Patrick you're going to testify in his defense, and now you pull out of the whole thing. Thanks for nothing. 52. Unfortunately, Anthony is right again, Claudia. By dumping the body when the police had full access to it, I understand what you were trying to do, but there's probably a TON of evidence laying all over that body just waiting for the police. And what happens when a piece of that carpet you threw away suddenly shows up at the PCPD, and is traced to Johnny's apartment? And matches all the carpet fibers on Logan's clothes? We could go on and on. The body should have been burned or dumped in the river or something. 53. GOD GOD GOD, we have to listen to Patrick tell us how everything is his fault. How do people like Carly and Robin do it? They treat people like garbage, and then the guy ALWAYS takes the blame for THEIR crap. 54. Hey, Jason, GET A CLUE. You tell Spinelli that he isn't incompetent, that Sonny is still grieving over Michael, and that he WOULDN'T BE THIS WAY OTHERWISE. BULLSHIT! Sonny has ALWAYS treated Spinelli like crap, long before anything happened to Michael, and you, Jason, have always let it happen. Spinelli is no more than a tool to you, and a month after he's gone, Spinelli will become "what's his name". If you think I'm wrong, REMEMBER HOW JASON PROMISED TO FIND STAN'S KILLER? 55. So Maxie has
received a personal invitation to visit Anthony. Don't play dumb,
Maxie. Anthony wants to know everything regarding Logan. Don't start
with bullshit. 56. In a way it's too bad Maxie and Lulu are now buds. It would have been interesting had Maxie given Lulu up to Anthony.
