MONDAY 01. Once again Carly is spouting this crap about how Kate is responsible for what happened to Michael. DOES ANYONE CARE TO REMEMBER THAT MICHAEL SHOT KATE, and she never pressed charges? You know, the statute of limitations is still open on that. Kate, how about you get yourself the best lawyer around, and sue Carly in a civil suit for allowing Michael to have a gun and shoot you with it. Then Sonny can sue you for being an unfit mother. How about them apples? You should thank God every day that Kate didn't press charges, and Sonny or the state didn't try to take your kids away from you. Instead, you decide you don't like her, and you treat her like crap. Amazing. 02. You know, Lulu, if you were "researching" something, and someone told you to leave it alone, what would your first thought be? You'd wonder why that person is telling you to back off, and decide that it had to mean there was a lot more there than met the (private) eye. Add to that, Lulu, the fact that you look like shit, and anyone with half a brain knows you're hiding something, and it's not that Logan is dead, and it's not that Johnny allegedly killed him. 03. Don't you think it's time Ric and Trevor starting earning their keep? Claudia is right; there are a ton of cars that look exactly like hers. And there's absolutely nothing illegal about standing next to your own car. If the cops believe this car might have been involved in a crime, they can impound the car; they don't have to impound the person who owns it. That's bullshit, and if the cops got hauled in front of a judge, he wouldn't like it either. 04. And did you hear the explanation as to WHY Claudia and Jason were arrested? The cops came to impound the vehicle, and found Claudia and Jason STANDING NEXT TO IT. Oh my God, Claudia was standing in front of a car. Boy, that's sure grounds for arrest if I ever heard it. 05. You know, Sonny, don't tell me that Carly never quits. YOU FIND A WAY. It's time you made a choice, just like Carly. Carly wants every man; she wants Jason, she wants Jax, and she wants you - two of you waiting around to pick up the pieces after she screws up the life of the third. She never wants to make a choice, and frankly, neither do you. So now it's time. What's it going to be - Carly or me? You cannot have both of us in your life, so choose. 06. This thing with Logan is a real mess. You KNEW it would hold up for about fifteen minutes. @ Claudia couldn't hold up to Daddy's withering glare; @ Lulu keeps saying she can't go through with it and has to go to the cops; @ and now Maxie tells Spinelli that Lulu killed Logan. Give it up, people. Your ability to keep to a story is pathetic. 07. FINALLY we've gotten to the place where we knew Carly was going to go: Jax can either have his business with Kate, or his marriage with Carly, but Carly says he can't have both. I'd tell Carly to get over herself, and I'd walk. And Carly, just what do you think is going to happen when Jax pulls out (assuming he even can per the contract), and Crimson folds, and Sonny tells Jax that Carly screwed him the night they went to New York to take care of Michael. Just what do you think Jax is going to do then? Not to mention that by this time everyone in the business world will know that Jasper Jax welched on a business dead because he has a ring in his nose and some woman was pulling it. 08. Kate, has no one told you that ANY PUBLICITY IS GOOD PUBLICITY? But Kate, you are NOW making a HUGE mistake by parading Jax under Sonny's nose for the good of the magazine. Now he's going to get pissed because you're encouraging speculation that you're unfaithful to Sonny Corinthos, the ex-mobster with huge power issues. This is going to do nothing but piss Sonny off (because now he thinks you're taking advantage of his understanding nature), and will push him toward Carly, who's going to be pissed with Jax and Kate being seen together (for the good of the magazine). 09. Spinelli and Maxie are magnificent together. 10. You know, Johnny, it wouldn't be long before I went NUTS listening to Lulu whine CONSTANTLY about how she can't handle this, and how she's got to go to the cops and confess, and while and moan. You might as well turn her in yourself.
TUESDAY 11. Let's run away, says Lulu, Oh, that's a swell idea. Isn't it wonderful to know that our heroine is so logical, so clear-headed ... so unflappable. Has she even spent 30 seconds actually thinking about what she's saying? Doesn't she realize how that would hurt Johnny? Of course not. Lulu tells Johnny that all he's doing is making himself look guilty. I don't know how she came to that conclusion, but the solution - now correct me if I'm wrong - doesn't seem to me to be running away. 12. Mac, you are another idiot. If you don't want to discuss "an ongoing investigation", THEN DON'T BE STUPID ENOUGH TO BRING IT UP. Do you think it's odd that someone being held as, well frankly I don't know what, in this case, would be interested in the fact that you've found the killer? My God, I'M INTERESTED THAT YOU FOUND THE KILLER, AND I SURE AS HELL DIDN'T KILL LOGAN. 13. The look on Spinelli's face as he's watching Maxie undress is absolutely wonderful, perhaps eclipsed only by the look on Jason's face as he's asked to wait outside while Maxie and Spinelli get dressed. Classic. 14. MAC, IF YOU'VE ALREADY GOT THE PERP, THEN THERE IS NO PROBABLE CAUSE FOR YOU TO IMPOUND CLAUDIA'S CAR, since the only reason you did impound it was because a car fitting that nondescript description was seen near Nik's clinic. And since I would bet that the perp has not fingered Claudia as the one who hired him and told him to use her car, you got nothin'. 15. So now Jason knows that Lulu killed Logan. Soon, everyone but the cops will know that Lulu killed Logan. 16. Isn't it amazing how many people just fall all over themselves to get Lulu out of stuff. You know, it's not like she's being framed. She killed a man, and instead of owning up to it, she's letting someone else take the fall. Johnny can't wait to say he did it. Jason finds out and tells her to be quiet while he figures out how to fix it; and you know Spinelli wouldn't have done the same.
WEDNESDAY 17. Whoever writes for Diane is fantastic and deserves an Emmy. And please don't tell me how you don't understand because the same people write everything. If that's so, THEN WHY DO THEY STINK WRITING FOR ALMOST EVERYONE ELSE? 18. It's a good thing that Sam is around at the clinic to let the doctors and nurses know what the lady is saying about her sick daughter. Considering it isn't 3AM, may I suggest, Nik, that you take some of the fortune you're dumping into this place, and hire some people who speak Spanish? They don't need to be doctors; make them clinical Wall Mart greeters. If the goal is to help people, don't you think more people would come to a clinic where they felt they could really communicate because the place had people who spoke their language just waiting to help? 19. EVERYONE IS DRESSED TO KILL TODAY. What happened? And I was just beginning to get used to that horrible dress Carly's been wearing all week, to go along with that even more horrible hairstyle. When's the last time you put a brush through that hair, Carly? But I digress. Kate's little black dress, with accessories, is terrific. Maxie looks gorgeous. And they've even managed to put Lulu in something really nice for a change that doesn't make her look like she's 10 years old. The only thing we could do without is Clarisse's necklace. Ouch! 20. The Jackal's sorrow knows no time limit? Whiskey, straight up, and keep 'em coming? At 10 o'clock in the morning? You gotta love it. 21. You know, Lulu, after getting that dressing down from Kate, I'd be damned if I would have told her that the person Alonzo sent away was Sonny. She could have found it out for herself later on. And if she fired me, well who cares. 22. Interesting, isn't it, how this isn't the first time that one of Kate's "associates" has mistaken Sonny for one of Kate's male models. Maybe that's what Sonny should do: he should become the top model for Kate's competitor. 23. You know, when Sonny was the boss of his territory, and actually had something to do with his time, he didn't appreciate people (like Carly) coming over and disrupting his work. Yet he's constantly needing to reassure himself that he's still the boss by coming over to Kate's place of business any time he pleases. And this isn't the first time his presence has led to trouble. Kate should just tell Sonny to find something to do and, stay out of her offices if he can't stay out of trouble. 24. LINE OF THE WEEK SO FAR: (Diane to Max) "I don't judge you, Max; I simply appreciate you for the loyal, upstanding, flexible man that you are." 25. Speaking of Diane, her conversation with Sonny was terrific. 26. Maxie, I appreciate the fact that you alerted Johnny to Lulu's inevitable breakdown, but having said half a dozen times that if Johnny doesn't do something ... My question is, exactly what is it that you want Johnny to do? What would YOU do, Maxie? 27. Incidentally, did I miss the part of the episode where Lulu tells Maxie and Johnny that Jason paid her a visit, and knows SHE killed Logan? Don't you think this would be important information to know? 28. "Oh, wow, don't you two of look cozy," says Lulu, who of course has to walk in at just the wrong time. Screw you Lulu. Guess what we were talking about? It sure wasn't about sex at the houseboat; it was about YOU, like it ALWAYS is. Johnny's in jail for confessing to killing the guy you killed just to protect you; and Maxie is making chummy, stress-free visits to Anthony Zacchara, and being threatened because of you. So take that huffy look off your face.

WEDNESDAY (continued) 29. Hey, Johnny, you can sure be nice to Maxie when it comes to Lulu, can't you? Holding Maxie's hand, and telling her how much you need her help? Just a couple of weeks ago you wouldn't give her the time of day. 30. Sonny, you've sent flowers to many women in your time. Did you think that flowers were all that was necessary to fix those problems? If you say no, are you assuming Kate is so stupid that SHE would think some flowers were all that was necessary to solve the problem? Now let's deal with Alonzo, Sonny. If you hadn't been looking to add fuel to your anger at Kate for even thinking about being seen with Jax, you would have known that Kate was unaware that it was you. And if you don't like it, then don't come to the office. If you don't want to be a stay-at-home husband, then don't be; for god's sake, find something to do with your life, and then you wouldn't have to be bothering Kate while she's trying to work. But my favorite, Sonny, is how you can't be second in your wife's life. Oh, but not only is it perfectly acceptable for the women in Sonny's life to be second, it's DEMANDED. In spite of what anyone ways, no woman has ever been more important to Sonny than his business. Remember, he gave up his business for his sons, not for Carly.
THURSDAY 31. Maxie, tell all these people to go to hell, and go to your father and tell him that Lulu killed Logan. Here you are, covering up for her, and Lulu's done nothing but treat you like crap - like you forced her to lie. And Johnny's not being much better. And frankly, yelling about who killed Logan and who's covering up what in the PCPD interrogation room probably isn't the smartest idea they've had. No matter who Maxie did she was going to get screwed. If she helps cover the killing up, then she's stuck putting up with what she's stuck with now. If she had refused to do anything but tell the truth, she would have been treated like crap for supposedly tattling on Lulu because Maxie hates her guts and wants to see her go to jail. 32. Johnny says, "I didn't expect the police find so much evidence so quickly." Wait a minute. What have I missed? What is all this "evidence" that the police have found? 33. CARLY, IF YOU THINK KATE IS JUST PULLING JAX AWAY FROM YOU TO PISS YOU OFF, THEN WHY IN THE HELL DON'T YOU EVER GO WITH HIM. Of course, then you'd see for yourself that this meeting is indeed critical and it is indeed only business, and then you'd have to find something else to get pissed about. You're married to a businessman; you need to understand business. And the first thing you need to understand is the necessity to make your business grow. Jax has been a huge corporate raider for years. He loves it. He's never going to give up raking in the dough, and you better figure that out now. The least he expects is for you to see how important this meeting is. Because while Jax doesn't want to be upstaged by a woman, he loves having a savvy businesswoman by his side. 34. Carly tells Jason, "I need to get rid of Kate Howard as soon as possible." OH, SURE, CARLY, NO PROBLEM. You want Jason to kill her and throw her body in the river, or what? 35. God, how you gotta love men when they're not being jerks: "You are the most kiss ass woman I've ever met. You connect with me, you connect with my music. Why would I walk away from that just because your daughter gets herself knocked up?" Fantastic. 36. Carly says she's going to "find a way for Jax to sell Kate out" of Crimson. Huh? Was she really trying to say that she's going to find a way for Jax to BUY Kate out (oh, that's likely), or that she's going to find a way for Jax to sell his part of the business? That sentence did nothing but confuse me, and it's important. 37. You know, I understand it's important that the public knows that counterfeit drugs are finding their way into all the hospitals in Port Charles. But that's pretty different from carrying on a conversation about that in the lobby of the hospital, unless someone thinks Jerry is involved. 38. So now Lulu and Maxie are on docks screaming at each other about killing Logan. My god, why don't you make a sign. Maxie, since Lulu the bitch has decided to let you swing in the breeze and get arrested as an accessory, FIND AN ATTORNEY IMMEDIATELY, and let Lulu do the swinging. 39. Hey Johnny, HOW DARE YOU CALL MAXIE A BITCH. Okay, so Maxie felt she had to tell Spinelli. If you want to be mad at anyone, be mad at Spinelli because he had no business telling Jason anything unless Maxie asked him to. AND WHY HASN'T YOUR PRECIOUS LULU TOLD YOU THAT SHE WAS VISITED BY JASON, AND HE ALREADY KNOWS SHE DID IT? 40. Wait a minute. I've really been out of it, I guess. Am I supposed to believe that Johnny is NOT claiming self-defense? Are you serious? Ya, I know there's no evidence to prove self-defense, but there isn't any evidence to prove otherwise, either.
FRIDAY 41. Lulu is at DEFCON one? Well, considering she's walking into the PCPD with a loaded gun she can hardly hold, I'd say Maxie's estimate was right on the money. Frankly, I'm disappointed, Lulu; didn't your daddy teach you how to use a gun? 42. I'm confused. Please tell me again why Johnny won't confess to killing Logan in self-defense. 43. I gotta give Lulu credit; she's got me convinced that she's several cans short of a six-pack. 44. Kate tells Claudia that she wants Jax out of business with Kate Howard by ANY MEANS necessary. Wouldn't it be fascinating if Claudia simply had Kate killed and fingered Carly for the job. People are always saying they want something, and then when they get it, they start complaining about the way it was done. Nobody ever listens to me, but Claudia, you shouldn't leave your house without a recorder. 45. Maxie, sweetheart, let me tell you how it works. You don't need to be going crazy to object to being called a loser. "How was I supposed to known he was going crazy?" asks Maxie. Well, Maxie, maybe you should consider not calling anybody a loser in public, and then you won't have to worry about whether they're crazy or not. 46. Good for you, Maxie. Going to Jason was the smartest thing you could have done. You just should be done it earlier. I just wish you would be a little nicer to Spinelli in the process. 47. One of the great lines of the week comes from Claudia to Carly, after Carly has tried to get Claudia to buy out Jax, so she can be around Sonny more: "Why would I invest enormous sums of money to get access to a man I've already had?" FANTASTIC. Carly was not impressed. 48. And neither was Jax. He's so mad at Carly, he can't see straight. And he has every right to be. Nothing like a woman who's so self-absorbed and stupid that she willing to hand over her hubby to the Feds on RICO violations just so she can get rid of Kate. There is absolutely no excuse for her stupidity. Stay out of Jax's financial affairs, Carly, or face the consequences. Jax, every minute you stay with this woman puts you in jeopardy. And what kills me is you can just bet Carly's sitting there all huffy because she can't see what the big deal is. Oh, I see, Carly, because YOU don't think it's a big deal, well then it CAN'T be a big deal. 49. Let me get this straight. Mr. Karpov and Sonny meet in what seems to me to be a very ritzy, very exclusive restaurant. What ... this restaurant has no private rooms? TWO POWERFUL MOBSTERS ARE GETTING TOGETHER TO DISCUSS BUSINESS AND THEY'RE DOING IT IN PUBLIC, where Claudia Zacchara can just walk right in? But that's only my first problem. So here we've got bodyguards of Sonny's and bodyguards of Karpov's, and there's Claudia taking one look at this meeting, and immediately picking up the phone. Well, guys, what do you think she's talking about? Why do you think she's sitting there practically falling off her chair she's leaning so close to their conversation. If you were Sonny or one of Sonny's guards, don't they know Claudia? Do they actually think it's a good idea for her to be in the same room listening to a very private conversation? Could we get serious? 50. I don't know what game we're playing here (although I have my suspicions), but why in the world would Eli Love do a 180 on Anna and all of a sudden be a total jerk? Anna spent a lot of time with him. If he was that kind of person, believe me would have known it long before now. 51. Jax tells Kate that he's already talked to Carly and told her that he won't be putting up with any more interference. Tell me, Jax, was that before or after you caught her with Claudia? 52. Lulu, when someone is worried about your mental health, and you SCREAM at them that you said you were fine, need I say more? 53. Carly, if you don't want to be "hated" by Kate, then stop doing things that would cause that. If you don't want Jax to tell Kate something stupid that you've done that directly affects her business, then stop doing those things. Getting mad at Jax because he told Kate what you did is YOUR fault not his. Stop doing crap, and he won't have anything to tell Kate. 54. Lulu, you are such an asshole. All you do is put people in more and more trouble. You just keep digging Johnny's grave, and yet everyone will let you get away with it. Must be nice. Why couldn't you have just put the gun back in your purse and gone home.
